This hotel is really great, located in the old city center of Malacca. It's a beautiful renovated old townhouse, and we stayed in a spacious room with a modern bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great.

The aesthetics of the glass wall toilet was nice but every time someone went to the toilet the lights shone really bright on the bed. So thankful the kids knock themselves out after each night. Also this suite was along the road and the sound of musical rickshaws or enthusiastic racing cars or loud booming Harley Davidsons through the night was disturbing. We stayed on #2 and #3 was empty on the first but occupied on the 2nd. There was constant sounds of footsteps running across the room, creaking of floorboards up till late. If anything, it was creepy. So glad the kids didn’t go through the wide eyed episode I had. It’s a beautiful heritage building but if you are looking for quiet nights without having to jump at creaking floorboard and hearing footsteps running across in the middle of the night, don’t get the suite. 😅 or maybe stay on the highest floor. Lastly, parking at the property was limited. Hotel was kind enough to let us park in a nearby garage, about 1 min or less walk away from the hotel’s back gate (it allows 4 parking spaces only). The Garage can hold about 5 cars squeezed in. We wanted to leave early around 12pm but couldn’t because a car was parked at the side and in front of us and we couldn’t move the front car until the owner came back at 3pm. 😞 lucky we were not on any other schedule.. I guess this also adds on to the beauty of travelling - expect the unexpected 😅

The space in the Suite was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and enough for my 5, 3 year old and me to sleep in. The bathroom was huge as well. Breakfast was sufficient, the staff was very welcoming, seeming to always want to feed you :) auntie who made eggs was happy to churn out eggs made to your order. Everyone there just felt relaxed yet attentive to your needs. 😊

Everything was perfect

A beautiful updated building with large spacious rooms and marble everywhere. Tastefully renovated in every way. Very peaceful even though it is near the action of Junker st. Bathroom was superb. Breakfast excellent and staff very good. Highly Recommended

Wouldn’t be suitable for disabled persons as all rooms are on upper floors and there is no lift.

In the UNESCO part of the city close to Jonker Street. Sympathetically converted to hotel retaining many features and period furniture. Large room with large shower enclosure. Staff friendly and very helpful. Buffet breakfast adequate. Great value for money.

Beautiful mansion located in the old city center. Large and comfortable room with a small private terrace and a spacious bathroom. Staff is superb, from the moment you arrive until you leave they look after you ensuring a great and pleasant experience. So far the best hotel experience during our trip in Malaysia!

We loved the design, heritage and space of the hotel. The staff were quite wonderful, led impeccably by Naj, helping us in every way while our baby was sick - ordering food, preparing breakfasts and booking taxis for us. Our room was a lovely haven - light, spacious, cosy.
