Dimitras was a beautiful place to stay - clean and comfortable with lovely attentions to detail. The roof terrace was a highlight for us. Dimitra was so friendly and helpful too, a great place to stay.

Dimitra has a lovelyl apartment, clean and well appointed. Towels, bins and sheets changed every couple of days. It's well situated for beaches and restaurants, many within a 10 to 15 minute walk.

The center of the village including shops and bars, and the beach is 10-15 minutes walk from the apartman, which is at the beginning of the village. You can have a car as well; walking in the hot one km or more is not so easy. You also need to find or buy your breakfast somwhere else. One night the electricity was out because of the heat, so we needed to sleep in 28-30 celsius, there was nothing to do.

The apartman is beautiful and very comfortable. We had a studio with 34 nm, it was great for 2 of us. Everything was very clean, the beds were great. Next to the apatmant you can find a bus stop to Chania, but it goes only 4-5 times / day. So it is not like in other places, every 20-30 minutes. If you would like to visit Chania or Rethimno it is better to rent a car. There are a some great tavernas in the village. The beaches are belonging to bars, and the sunbeds and umbrellas are free.

The cleaner only came twice during our stay, therefore the kitchen bin and toilet bin was only emptied twice. We do not expect towels and bedlinen to be changed any more than this but for hygiene and in the heat the toilet and kitchen bins should be done daily. Also we asked about having our/a room for an extra few hours and were offered this at a discounted rate of 50 euros cash, which I found to be excessive as it was just for a shower, needless to say we didn't take up the offer and used the shower by the pool.

Beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed and a great balcony, Room 4, which overlooked the pool and hills behind. The pool was very welcome as the weather was very hot.

The studio was a good size, immaculately furnished and perfectly located for beaches and tavernas. Our studio had a rear balcony which was totally private and great for breakfast and the roof terrace is quite superb with fabulous views.

Good location with sea view. Fabulous balcony. Comfortable bed. Beautiful apartment with great facilities and extra little touches. Spotlessly clean. There was a coffee machine too and even a little sewing kit. Dimitra was a wonderfully welcoming host and so helpful and kind. We were also offered an upgrade to a bigger room. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Nothing really… maybe some Info in the room to assist with Transport issue I.e. buses and timetable to Chania ( Greek time?) and info on taxis ( we found taxi stand next to church but not on our first days)

The property is located across the beach and in walking distance to all amenities. We stayed in one bedroom apartment( recommended )which was spacious, super comfortable and nicely decorated. All Apartments are designed with love and Imagination by the owner. Especially loved the roof top terrace with views across beaches and village. Our balcony also had mountain views at the back, so choices galore to enjoy.

Dimitra is a wonderful host! The apartment was immaculate, the garden and the pool were pristine. Towels and sheets were changed very frequently. The roof terrace is gorgeous, a real sun trap by day and a romantic hideout in the evening. Any problems (of which there were hardly any) were resolved immediately. We've stayed at Dimitra's before and came back because of the wonderful welcome. Dimitra adds lovely personal touches and is on hand if needed, but never intrusive. It's an easy and relaxing place to stay. The place is close to a lovely beach. There are local shops nearby and Kalyves has plenty of bars and restaurants. There's a great bus service into Chania (a beautiful place) or along the coast to Rethymno and beyond. The whole experience was fantastic! Highly recommended.

coming out of the gate of the apartments was sometimes a little scary due to the busy road and volume of traffic .

we loved our stay , central to both beaches , really clean and comfortable and Dimitra was always happy to help with anything we needed . Also loved the attention to detail for the uniqueness of each apartment .

Beautiful , clean apartment close to the sea, full of good energy. At Dimitra's place You feel like at home. The beds have very comfortable mattresses, and in the evening you can sit on the roof !

It would be a good idea if they can put a curtain in the shower and maybe thinner pillows on the bed (small details, nothing big)- but overall it was a great stay!!!!!!

Everything was wonderful and the Ms Dimitra is amazing ! She took care of us the best way possible! I will definitely go back.

Beautifully clean, comfortable apartments. Individually decorated with lots of lovely touches. Well equipped with a fantastic shower and very comfortable bed. Great rooftop terrace for sunbathing with a variety of loungers and seating areas. Pool and pool area very nice. Provided with towels for the pool which was a lovely touch. Host, Dimitra is lovely - very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend these apartments which are of a very high quality. Perfect stay

very nice room with a lot of handcrafted decorations, the space was spacious as we had a living room plus a bedroom with a large bed. there was a large rooftop terrace where we could chill. the host was very friendly. The location is close to the sea and you have a nice sea view from the terrace.

the place was great so nothing not to like.

the property is huge plus the decor is really beachy so it’s great for a holiday. the plot terrace at the rear is lovely and quiet, the pool is really nice and only shared amongst a few other guests plus the roof terrace is such a great place for the sunsets and tanning.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Location is very good - just outside of the main town of Kalives, yet comfortable to walk into town or to the beach. Bus stop is across the road and local restaurants all within walking distance. The apartments are well appointed and really tastefully presented. Dimitra has put in a lot of time and effort to make the rooms comfortable, to have an excellent roof top space for sun bathing and the pool area is spot on to cool off. The apartments have all the appliances you will need, are cleaned regularly and the bedding/towels changed periodically. Dimitra is incredibly helpful - giving helpful advice on travel, where to shop for basic needs and even phoned the bus company when the bus was delayed.

We would have liked a comfy sofa but that is our only suggestion.

Dimitra was a suberb host and was always on hand to help with anything-the apartment was immaculately clean with lots of hanging space, mirrors, fresh towels, a large balcony and a lovely pool and roof top terrace. We loved it there and it was brilliant value for money.
