BulgariaAlmyra is a perfect family hotel for people who want to explore the island. Its location is around 30min away from the main beaches (except for Porto Katsiki) and landmarks. However, it’s not just the location that makes the place extraordinary, it’s the owners and their great attitude and attention to detail. We were impressed by their hospitality and friendly attitude. And last but not least, the facility was new and sparkling clean. Our room was spacious enough and everything even the smallest details were perfect. We would highly recommend Kosta and Myrsini’s place and we would definitely stay here again if we come back to Lefkada :)

United StatesGreat location in Lygia , an area between Lefkada town and Nydri. Easy to access both towns as well as all the great beaches of Lefkada. It’s a hotel in an quiet and convenient location. The owner was very helpful and kind. She provided us with all the “must go” places of the island. Great decorations and very clean rooms and hotel in general. Romaniathe road is right in front of the pool,heavy traffic almost 24/7 which means it is really noisy (not inside,the windows ar good),the outside pictures make it look a little prettier and more intimate than it actually is.

BelgiumThe location near the main road of the island is very noisy. We stayed in several places during our island hopping trip of the ionian islands and we always like the ocean breeze at night instead of the airco. But this was not possible at Almyra. Luckily the windows were very sound proof and the airconditioning working impeccable. There is not really a kitchen, but you have a coffee machine at your disposal (we only got 1 time coffee pads though) and plates and cutlery. You have dish soap and a kitchen towel available. Having a fridge with a freezer compartment would have been great as it gets very hot in the summer and being able to freeze your bottles of water when you go to the beach is an advantage.
Almyra seafront residence is a brand new aparthotel offering state of the art building and rooms. Everything is designed to give you the best experience. The fridge was filled with water, wine and juice and some cookies were presented as well. Myrsine shared great insider tips for restaurant and beaches to experience the east side of the Island to the fullest! We really liked the local delicacies she served every morning.

Although there is no breakfast included, the host has provided us with morning pastries and cake. There was coffee every morning for us to have. The room was really nice and had all of the things you would need. Included espresso cups, wine glasses, normal glasses, places and bowls. There is a fridge in the room so that is very useful. As a welcome, we have received a few coffee pods for the coffee machine, 2 cold drinks and a bottle of water. These are small things but make the stayee feel very nice. There was a pool with good size that was definitely a must on very hot days! The host was really good and showed us on a map the hot spots. The wifi was really good - can watch netflix ect no problem. The cleaner was cleaning in the rooms daily.
