We really enjoyed our stay in Alkyon, Thasia and all the team, George, Christ and Georgina were incredible nice, we felt like in family at home, very nice host always looking after every little detail to make our stay really comfortable. Recommendations from them were always 100% good. We had free bikes to go around every day ,that was a plus, the swimming pool very nice, the island , the food and people amazing. We have no words to express our gratitude to Thasia and all the staff for being with us like our family. Definitely we will come back next year. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy a family and relax environment.

Wonderful hosts, excellent spacious clean rooms and beautiful pool and bar area. Nothing too much trouble and bikes/scooters/cars available to rent on site too.

we received such a warm welcome from the moment we arrived. the hotel is really pretty inside and outside alike with a beautiful garden and pool area. the rooms are cleaned often and well looked after and the staff are very friendly. it is well located with lovely tavernas, bakeries and a market within walking distance. the bar was well catered with a variety of drinks for children and adults. our apartment (one bedroom) was spacious and had everything you could need.

We were made to feel very welcome immediately on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. The whole area - room, pool and surroundings was very clean and well tended. The hotel is in a quiet area. There is a small mini market and a bakers 5 minutes away and the bus stop for Lefkada town to Nidri is a few minutes walk (bus approximately every 90 minutes). Lovely.

I’ve never had the level of service we received at the Alkyon in Lefkada in all my years of travel and stay at various hotels, airbnb’s, etc. This is by far the most amazing place and not just because of the location, property or amenities (which are also perfectly comfortable), but because the people who own, run and maintain the property are what make it the best place to stay in ALL of Lefkada. And the property speaks for itself; it’s lovely, clean, affordable and accessible to everything. Our stay exceeded all expectations. We had a very big apartment for a family of four with a toddler, who absolutely loved the pool and the sweetest treats from the people running the place. Every room was so clean, with soft details throughout, and the most beautiful wood detailed roof. It was spacious and so well kept. We felt at home throughout our entire stay, and that is the best feeling when you are far from home. Thank you for leaving us with the best first, and hopefully not the last impression. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Lefkada, you don’t need to look further. Book your stay here, you won’t regret it!

From the moment we were greeted by Tasia, as we stepped out of the taxi, our holiday began. Smiling with open arms she sat us in reception, presented homemade pumpkin pie (yum) and showed us a map of the island, on which she had made suggestions as to where to visit. We were introduced to Georgia, whom I had exchanged emails with and who had arranged our taxi from the airport and our hire car, so nice to put a face to a name😀. Our room was lovely, looking out onto the pool and beautiful surrounding gardens. High spec bathroom with a great rainforest shower (hand shower also available) and a large comfy bed. Tasia had left drinks in the fridge on our arrival, and some snacks. Kitchen had everything we needed. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels and all surrounding areas are kept immaculately. The pool is wonderful, shower outside with plenty of sun beds and an outside shower block with toilet facilities. Tasia, Chris or Georgia are around all day not only to serve drinks/tea/coffee at the bar, but great to converse with and for restaurant suggestions and maybe what to do for the day. By the way, Chris makes The best Aperol Spritz 10\10 Beach is a 2 min walk away, plenty of excellent restaurants nearby to choose from, on the beach front or on the road. Everything is fresh and so delicious. Supermarkets nearby, Lefkada is a 10 min drive away ( bustling old town with plenty of bars and restaurants and shops), Nidri is a 15 min drive away, plenty of bars, shops and restaurants ferry connections and boat cruises. We completely understand why couples come back to stay at the Alkyon for maybe the 4th or 5th time, not only for it’s peaceful and tranquil surroundings but also, Tasia, Chris and Georgia are some of the most kindest, friendly, welcoming, accommodating people you will ever meet, nothing is too much for them, from booking taxis, organising your excursions, reserving tables at restaurants, Tasia’s home made yummy treats!

We were looking for an apartment in a small complex with a shared pool. We were a bit sceptical because the reviews were so good but it turns out they were accurate; the accommodation is lovely, the housekeeping is exemplary and the hospitality is warm without being overbearing. The location is very convenient with a local supermarket, bakery and four or five tavernas/restaurants within easy walking distance.

There is nothing that I would change - it’s perfection !

The location is fantastic - so tranquil & prettily done around the pool (lovely flowers etc). The rooms was exceptional but what really made it special are the lovely people. Dealing with them from the outset was a joy - they each made so much effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We travelled around the island & their recommendations were really helpful, but many days we stayed local or took bus trips in either direction. If you like walking or cycling there is plenty of that to do. Lots of nice eating places within walking distance too. Sheer bliss.

Very friendly and nice host, such a nice apartment with a wonderful view. The pool "outside the door" was very useful :) Calm and relaxing surrounding. The see about 100m from the accomodation. The hostess brought us some homemade dessert almost every day, it was very nice from her :) Cleaning was done every day.

Everything was amazing at Alkyon. Rooms are cleaned everyday, the staff Anastasia and Chris are so welcoming, accommodating and very friendly (6* hosts). They are also very knowledgeable about local history and can give great recommendations for places to eat etc. Absolutely recommend - don’t miss out!

The only issue was the Internet connectivity, which was very very poor, we could barely load google maps to check for stuff to visit or use chat apps. We tried all the three available Wifis, at various times of day and every time it was slow. Coincidently, the phone signal was also poor and I could barely use even the phone internet, so not having a good WiFi connection gave us a bad experience.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and had welcomed us very nicely with pies and a short presentation of the main attractions and restaurants of the island. The room was great, had everything we needed and the bathroom was recently renovated and it was spacious and nice. Everything was very thoroughly cleaned and the pool area looked great, with lots of plants and trees very well maintained. The pool is large and very clean and is perfect for swimming or just relaxing in it. We found the location perfect for us. Very easy to reach from the main road, we had a minimarket at 2-3 minutes walking distance and a very nice area to take walks near the sea towards the restaurants.

Nice and clean room with a good view at the pool so I could always watch my kids playing there. Appartments are in beautiful garden. I was admiring every detail. If you like gardens I recommend this place a lot. Whole place is clean and relaxful. Tasia the owner took a great care about us. She offers very good coffee at the bar.

We have been to Alkyon hotel with my husband several years ago and then we were very pleased. So this year we decided to go to Alkyon hotel again but this time the whole family of 4 and again everything was perfect from welcome to the room location, the cleanse, the beautiful garden and the pool. Prior to visiting we needed to arrange an airport transfer, Georgia and Chris we very helpful and arranged this for us. Anastasia and Georgia were waiting for us on arrival, they were both so helpful and we felt very welcome from beginning to end. Hiring a car was also extremely easy, arranged, collected and dropped off at apartment! Could have asked for better service. Our 2 year old son Alex was very well looked after by Anastasia with all the ice cream and croissants :) The room was immaculate, a cot was provided for Alex and we were very comfortable. We had a room looking out to the pool with a terrace, perfect for sitting and drinking wine on during nap times ;) It also allowed my wife to enjoy the pool without being far away. Turning right out of the apartments takes you on a very short walk to the beach, on the left is an area with free sun beds. The beach isn't sandy but this was fine for us, I would recommend getting beach shoes. Several restaurants are also a short 10-15 minute walk away, I remember our first lunch at Taverna Seven Islands with its good food and beautiful setting very fondly (photo attached). We also hired a car for a few days which was worth doing to try out a few other beaches. Thank you for having us Anastasia, Georgia and Chris. We'll be back!
