The staff are so helpful and kind. The location is perfect, with an underground station very close by, less a minute walk. The hotel smells fresh and is exceptionally clean. Perfect :)

Room was very tiny, Shower and toilet were the size of a cupboard and difficult to get in and out of. Too cold to try out our outdoor bath... They want your cc details up front directly and wont confirm until you give them. Did ask them about it when I got there and it is understandable.

Location was amazing! Right on the main street, walking distance to everything and next to the National, a great mix of different restaurants! Lovely lounge area set up for happy hour every night with free vino and coffee/tea.

The shower was spacious but would’ve liked a nicer wand as an alternative to the rain shower.

The bed and linens were comfy. I liked the furnishings and space. Loved the little balcony!

Bed was excellent. Pillows much too hard. Everything else was good to very good. We would stay there again.

Slightly funky toilet set up….it’s the modern style I suppose.

Loved the comfy bed, modern decor, practical room layout, very quiet despite the busy location. Also had a small maintenance issue that was promptly resolved.

I liked the property since it was close to everything in the city. The lounge was nice for coffee, tea and wine. It was very clean and smelled nice. The people at the desk were friendly and helpful! It’s hard to compare Hotel Praktik Essens to the hotel at Alcudia Beach that we just came from. Honestly, we had a large suite, a spa, hot tub, sauna,steamroom, restaurant, bar and beach with a view of the mountains and breakfast included for just a little bit more money than we paid here. I’m sure this area is a high rent district in the city. The other place is a better value.

There is not much really. If anything, the tv didn't have smart capabilities, so no netflix, prime, etc. Another small issue was that there wasn't a wastebasket in the toilet and also no toilet brush. I would say hotel exceeded my expectations in almost everything.

Room was very clean, staff was very polite and helpful. It was very easy to arrive to the hotel. Its location is very central, but it is not noisy. The room had high ceilings and received a lot of light. Also a very nice and big balcony. I would recommend the hotel to anyone, especially if you would prefer walking around the city. It is about 5-6 mins far to La Rambla, 20 mins to La Sagrada Familia, 20 mins to Arc de Triomf, 30 mins to Parc Güell. Many restaurants, cafes, supermarkets around. Also right next door to Zara, H&M, Mango and many other shops.

Sometimes the coffee maker was out of order in the lounge area which was a bummer. Also, there is no gym or food service which is something to know when booking so you are not surprised!

We loved our stay here! It was in a great central location for us to walk around the city and use the metro. The room was just what we needed to relax in. We also enjoyed the lounge area and grabbed tea or coffee from there.

The room structure of sink and bathroom, the bed was too soft, no coffee or tea in the rooms had to get to the lounge all the time for hot water or tea. Construction noise during day time! Couldn't get any shaving or tooth brushing kits upon request.

Very good location for sightseeing , shopping and dining. Friendly staff and speedy check in and out, spacious room. Some snacks in the morning and evening. Nice smell in the hotel, quiet rooms.

The closets in the room could have been a little bigger, it was difficult to fit in. Cleaning was good, but they didn't wipe the floors every day, it was a little dusty.

The location is incredible. The beds are large and clean. Room size is sufficient.
