The restaurant was not open during out stay, and there is nothing else around there. The nearest town is a 15-minute drive, and everything there closes very early. So plan accordingly.

Nice, authentic welcome. Beautifully situated with picturesque view. Room was dated but adequate. Very convenient to just pull up the car right outside the door.

Great location right by the river. The first morning we awoke to see a black bear (soon chased off by the owner’s dog). Fantastic.

The owner was very friendly and kind. When I asked for the room with two beds, he changed the room without hesitating and refunded the money. The view surrounding the room was fantastic.

Good facilities nearby ie Rearguard falls 7 min drive, mount Robson walk same direction another 10 mins drive (2.5 hrs walk). Then follow by another 2mins drive same direction 2 mins - overland falls (15mins walk). Highly Recommended by the lady owner boss. Also nice lakeside at the motel.

There was a slight smell of sewage coming from the shower. Additionally, while the facilities say there is a shared kitchen, it is merely an outdoor wood stove and barbecues, with no actual kitchen to use.

Having to drive 20 minutes each way to get dinner when we had driven all day.

Having the river to sit by was bonus as it was a warm evening. The setting is really lovely. The room was clean and spacious with chairs and a table. The location was lovely but there was no availability of food for dinner, which meant a 20 minute drive back to where we had come from. It would have been good to know that first. A supply of cutlery and plates would also have been useful, but we made do.

Bathroom needs an urgent update. Price of the laundry service far too high (4 dollars) compared to other hotels where we stayed around Canada were laundry was 2 dollars or even free in some of them. Nearest shops where around 25 km away.

Location of the room was perfect, next to a beautiful river. Barbecue available to use for free. Parking right outside the room. Mosquito nets in the windows.

We saw a bear - first one in three weeks - a massive plus. The location by the riverside is beautiful. There is a very large verandah overlooking the river which was a lovely touch, it really added to our enjoyment of the place. I would love to stay there again.

This is not a complain but just a heads up for those who may need internet for some thing. Internet connectivity is not good/reliable as the location is really remote. I had to check something important but neither my phone provider service nor the lodge provided wifi worked.

It’s a good location to perform outdoor and camping. Staff is also very helpful and cooperative.

All in all it was great. USB ports in the room would be handy, and a tiny bit more water pressure for the shower would be a bonus.

Owners were lovely, room was clean, beds were good, location was convenient, views at the riverside were lovely.
