Our guide, Anton, was amazing! Anton was super knowledgeable, caring and responsible in ensuring all of our safety, comfort and fun.

Please note that bedlinen, towels and departure cleaning are not included in the rate of Cottages, Quadruple rooms, Family rooms and dorm beds. Room was nice and spacious, Bed was comfy. Staff were really nice and helpful. Common areas were also clean and perfect to interact with other travellers.

Grand Hotel Lapland is situated in the centre of Gällivare, directly opposite Gällivare Train Station. This area is known for both the midnight sun and the unique northern lights. We had a very comfortable room with a breathtaking view over the mountains. A delicious breakfast.

The location is superb - we were even lucky enough to enjoy an incredible aurora watching experience from Camp Ripan. The Spa facilities and overall experience is great. Also an excellent restaurant. The staff are great. I lost an item of luggage on the train and the receptionist went out of her way to track it down and have it returned to me. Very grateful!
