The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, right on the water with a small marina out front. The hotel and rooms are stylishly decorated and it feels very luxurious. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The facilities including the spa, restaurant, gym and pool were top notch. A good breakfast included. The sunsets and sunrises from the marina and nearby beach were spectacular. I had an excellent pregnancy massage at the spa.

Shoal bay has always been a holiday destination for us.
Shoal bay has always been a holiday destination for us. Been many times over the years and it never disappoints. My kids loved it and now the grandkids love the ease of getting to all amenities. The beach is just across the road. Shops within walking distance. Fresh air and wonderful selection is cafes and ice cream shops. The country club is our favourite place to get a great meal. We hired a canoe and paddled out to the beautiful turquoise waters. Can't explain it you have to experience it yourself.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

Love the coastal area. Minimal traffic, high rise and not over developed. Beautiful beaches with blue tranquil water. Definitely Not a surfing beach. White sand . Seems like a very safe area. Good places to eat. Try the Country Club for a great meal or afternoon cocktails . Also the Atmos Greek Restaurant was very nice. 5 mins drive to Little Bay Boathouse a great restaurant we lived. 10 minutes to the larger town of Nelson Bay if you want to shop, dine, or need anything. The air conditioning worked well and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. The bedrooms were also a good size.
