Hospitality and catering are my passion and I have been in this business for over 10 years. I started hosting guests in my first rental accommodation in the heart of St. Julians, then in neighbouring Swieqi, and more recently, refurbished an old Maltese townhouse in Rabat, just outside Mdina, transforming it into a quaint little guest house. All three locations are highly rated by my guests as being conveniently just a short walk away from the main attractions. Sunny Lodge has been my home for the past 11 years and is now my newest addition to the rentals I provide. It is located in the beautiful and tranquil North of the island, a great base to explore the island. Or perhaps my guests would like to combine two or three different locations during their stay in Malta. I love meeting people from all over the world and I make sure to communicate with my guests as soon as a reservation is made, whilst being available all throughout their stay. My main satisfaction is to have my guests say that they have had a great, stress-free holiday base at my accommodation. This bright and airy two-bedroom apartment is located in the picturesque seaside village of Xemxija in the North of the island, overlooking the farmlands of Mistra Valley and the calm bay, Ir-Ramla tal-Pwales. The area is surrounded by some of Malta's most wonderful nature and greenery in the middle of the protected Heritage Trail, and close to the best beaches on the island. We are also very close to the Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal which takes you to Gozo. The apartment is fully-equipped for self-catering, with the option of finding popular restaurants in the nearby area. The layout of this modern third floor apartment consists of a combined living, kitchen and dining area with enclosed veranda enjoying open views, one double bedroom, a smaller bedroom with 2 single beds, and one bathroom with both a bathtub/jacuzzi and a shower cubicle. This comfortable apartment is fully equipped, with air-conditioning in both bedrooms as well as in the living area. The apartment block is served by a lift. We provide all the basics one might require during their stay, including beach towels, beach cooling bags, adaptors, first aid kit, magazines and informative brochures about the islands.

Sunny Lodge is situated in the quiet village of Xemxija with picturesque views overlooking the farmlands of Mistra valley and the calm bay, Ir-Ramla tal-Pwales. Just a stone's throw away from the apartment you will find great places to go for a swim in the warm waters of Mistra bay (15 min walk) and Fekruna Bay (10 min walk) with crystal clear, turquoise water. Several popular restaurants of various cuisines are located both on the main road and in the nearby towns of Mellieha and St. Paul's Bay. Many of Malta's best beaches are located very close by as well with only an 8 minute drive to the famous Golden Bay and 11 minute drive to the white sandy beach of Ghadira bay in Mellieha. The nearest bus stop on the main road is a hilly 7-min walk away. Hiring a car is optional but advised
