Rosemary Cottage is nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Bere Alston in the Tamar Valley, West Devon. This one-bedroom cottage has been lovingly refurbished for June 2022 and is ideal for a romantic retreat or a solo traveller looking for creative inspiration. It can be set up as a superking or twin and has a sofa bed in the lounge for a third guest. Walking from the house you will find a butcher, bakery, post office, chemist, general stores, a pub (no food), bistro and takeaway.

We live 45 minutes away but will always do our best to respond to any questions as soon as possible.

The cottage sits on Fore Street at the centre of the village. It’s in a great place to watch people (and horses!) go by. And yet has a very relaxed feeling and is incredibly quiet at nighttime. There is a small car park at the rear of the property for about 8 cars. But you can also park in the main public car park (both are free) which is s two minute walk from the house. You can also catch the train from Plymouth which is a picturesque 20 minute journey along the Tamar Valley Line. And then about a 10 minute walk to the cottage.
