Set in the rolling hills of the West Devon countryside. Higher Larkworthy Farm is conveniently located off the A388 down a half mile private drive between the old market towns of Launceston and Holsworthy and about half way between Dartmoor with it's rugged granite tours and open landscapes and the Sandy beaches and charming ports of the North Cornish Coast. A working beef and sheep farm that has it's own nature reserve and west country orchard with a flock of Jacob sheep. We have an on farm footpath which leads to the local village, it's church, shop and country pub which provides good food and refreshment. For further grocery shopping the local town of Holsworthy has a Waitrose store. Our cabin which sleeps up to four people has ensuite and mini kitchen facilities. You may choose to sit outside and enjoy the picturesque scenery or feel warm and cosy inside, with plenty to see and do in this part of Devon your stay here makes it the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy your holiday.
Hi. My name is Alistair. A warm welcome awaits you here at Larkworthy Farm. I am around to give advice on all the local attractions and places of interest. As well answering any questions you may have about the farm or any of the wildlife in the area. I run a friendly easy going site here. So if you like a chat or if you prefer peace and quiet this is ideal place for you to stay.
Larkworthy Farm. Is situated in a private location near the Devon and Cornwall border. Between the old market towns of Holsworthy and Launceston. You may wish to stay here on the farm and enjoy are large garden and on farm walks. If you are looking for days out here is a list of some of the favourite places people staying with us have enjoyed. Starting with the North Devon and North Cornish Coast. CLOVELLY HARTLAND ABBY, HAWKERS HUT BUDE ( winner of best UK coastal town ) BOSCASTLE TINTAGEL PORT ISAAC Dartmoor Natonal Park has many attractions including. LYDFORD GORGE & CASTLE FINCH FOUNDRY WIDECOMBE IN THE MOOR CASTLE DROGO DARTMEET Other attractions in the area include RHS ROSEMOOR ROADFORD LAKE HOLSWORTHY WEEKLY LIVE STOCK MARKET. LAUNCESTON CASTLE Places to eat locally include THE ASHWATER VILLAGE INN & THE ARSCOTT ARMS.
