really friendly staff and people and daily activities. the staff are travelers themselves who coordinate activities. Alina who led us to the great boat party the first night also took us out a few times on her free nights - she took charge when the group got indecisive but got us to explore some really cool bars. Mirko offered to make me some authentic Italian pasta with seasoning he carried from back home! All in all it felt like a family, and would recommend if traveling solo and up to meet new people. I’m 35 so was apprehensive at first if I had gotten too old for this - verdict is, it’s still a really fun way to solo travel!

The artfully decorated apartment faces a quiet lane and has a full kitchen and two bedrooms, one with a separate bathroom and shower and one without. We stayed at the one without but we have access to the bath and toilet in the common area basically all to our own. The location is excellent, with many attractions in walking distance and many supermarkets and shops literally downstairs. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and provided excellent information on how to enjoy the city. Because of the insider knowledge, we got to follow the lead of the locals and hangout at the racetrack for the new year's eve. It was an amazing experience.

Staff was amazing- very kind and helpful. Location was great - near a few metro stations, but you can basically walk most places by foot. Many restaurants, supermarkets and bars close by. Very clean and safe- all doors for rooms are closed for whoever is not sharing your room with you. Didn't try breakfast.

I had a great two days in a private room in this hostel. Historic building in the heart of Budapest, high ceilings and stylish design. I would like to pay special respect to the staff of this hostel, especially Tijana. She was really helpful and she cares about guests a lot.

As I arrived late in the midnight, the staff was very accommodating to help me reserve the lower bunk bed. Staff are very helpful in general. It’s a really chill place so I can spend quiet time in the common area. I also like how the beds have curtains and a little storage area above so there is privacy.
