Our stay was amazing. The location was perfect and the facilities were very charming and clean. We left behind sunglasses and our host flagged it immediately. This is a restored and expanded traditional Korean house that offers bed and breakfast, with cultural experience. It is ran by a retired university professor and his wife with passion. The wife, while still active in her career, is also the lady host the of house. She engaged us during breakfast and showcased to us her peronal collection of traditonal Korean costumes and musical instruments. The room we stayed in has ensuite toilet, not usual for a traditional Korean house. The house is in the bustling old town area with many cafe, restaurants and shops. It is within walking distance to the Gyeongju monuments.

Mr Kim was a good host whom can be communicated in English. The pension is spacious, clean and tidy with sufficient facilities. It is near Bulkasa Temple but not close to city centre. Thus, the environment is quiet with natural beauty. We highly recommend to take this pension if we travel to Gyeongju next time. Thanks for Mr Kim's hospitality.

Really comfy beds, everything was very clean (shower, bathroom, dorm, common area etc), the lady running the place is very nice and her little dog was an extra treat as well! Great to have eggs available for breakfast.

Absolutely lovely stay. It’s a beautiful guesthouse with a very kind owner. The breakfast was generous and varied. Sleeping on a thick mat on a floor with ondol heating was fine; it was almost too warm!

Great guesthouse experience in traditional style home with modern interior. Rooms are simple futons on the floor (with Korean heated floors). Extremely friendly host, she only speaks Korean. Free onsite parking, bus to downtown and stations are right across the street. Lovely common area. Property is right against national park for tranquility. Wifi available. Free ramen, coffee, tea available. A+ stay for a traditional Korean feel! There is also a woman's only dorm downstairs

Very quiet and relaxing place. It is located 20 minutes from the city, so it is a perfect place to take a break from the crowd. Very clean and comfortable, the bedroom is huge and it has kitchen appliances and private bathroom. You have to bring your own food as there is not restaurants near by. It would be better if you have your own car, because public transportation is a bit difficult. However, you can also call a taxi (not very easy if you don’t have a local phone number). Thankfully, the owner Mr Lee is the most amazing host!!! He will help you with everything, general information about transport, attractions, food. He is very kind and will look after you always, he made us feel so welcome in his house that we can not wait to come back :)
