The mobile home's kitchenette, which features kitchenware, is available for cooking and storing food. We had such a great week staying in Isla Yu. The room was extremely comfortable, a very well equipped kitchen, the bathroom was spotless, the common area was spacious and the house was always warm. Jimmy, his sister Ximena and the volunteers were so kind and helpful especially as I was on my own with three year old. My little one loved every moment with the family. And Jimmy was extremely encouraging and helpful when I was playing my Torres hikes. From renting anything we needed to general advice. The breakfast is a lovely touch, and I loved the flexibility plus the self service option. The location is a quick walk from the bus station and yes about a 25min walk to the centre but it's a nice walk (and considering many come to PN to hike, not a long walk at all!). There are also plenty of nearby mercados and restaurants so you don't need to go to the centre each day. It was also a great place to meet other travellers. Cannot fault this very welcoming place. The tent includes a shared bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. The tent has a barbecue, outdoor furniture and river views. The dome is great, although a bit cold at night. The staff is great, the location is amazing. The on-site restaurant is the best in the area in price/quality terms, even when staying in other places it's worth to come here (like twice cheaper for the same quality).
