Quail Rest is located on Totara Peak Station which is a working High Country Station situated on the shores of Lake Benmore 22kms from Twizel township. Free WiFi and private parking is included. Everything, though about 10 minutes off the beaten path it didn’t matter once you got there. On the front porch you looked right at Mount Cook. The house itself was immaculate and the appointments were top notch. If you are staying for a few days do not miss this one.

Just a 2-minute walk from beautiful Lake Tekapo, Lexi's Lodge features mountain views and a private garden with outdoor furniture. Surprisingly good. Much better than what you can observe via the photos of introduction. Host team was very friendly and gave us good advices in hiking and visiting. Room proper and warm. Highly recommended.

It was my favorite stay in the whole 2 weeks trip in nz Super comfortable and cozy Awesome view (we had great weather) Love the bathroom too - great hot shower in cold day!

Situated in Twizel in the Canterbury region, GH Twizel Holiday Cottage has a garden. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The host was accommodating to my last-minute booking and late arrival. The property is immaculate and wonderfully located for visiting Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. My only regret is that I couldn't stay to enjoy it longer or especially on a moonless night for night sky viewing!

Very clean and well appointed. Comfortable bed. The city of Twizel lost water due to a broken water main while we were there but we were kept aware of the progress made on the repairs.
