Set in Galveston, in a historic building, 1.7 km from Porretto Beach, The George Manor is a bed and breakfast with a garden and bar. The George Manor is as elegant as the pictures posted on the website. We were met at the gate by Graham George who brought us to our room and gave us the quick tour. So friendly. The Kaiserhof Suite was spacious and absolutely lovely. We wished we were staying more than one night! Looking forward to returning. Already told family to look for The George Manor when in Galveston. Graham and Valerie were in constant contact with us (loved that personal touch). Michael de Beyer (chef) came and introduced himself to us and let us know all about the breakfast accommodations. Just a wonderful group of people at a fabulous one of a kind bed and breakfast!

The rooms in the Victorian-style guest house are lovingly furnished, from the breakfast table to the four-poster bed. I will never forget my hostess Lana and will certainly return to the Steamboat Inn!

Charming, comfortable hotel with super friendly staff in a nice location in Galveston. The general atmosphere and non-buffet breakfast are very refreshing on a trip with mostly dull chain hotels. Would definitely recommend!

Idyllic, peaceful location where the main attractions are the wildlife, the spectacular sunrises and starry night skies. The cabin was beautifully presented, clean, cosy and had everything you could need. The breakfast provided was excellent & the hot tub was the icing on the cake! The host could not have been more welcoming and helpful to us. It was the perfect place to get away from it all & we would return in a heartbeat.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Hardeman House Bed and Breakfast is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Nacogdoches, 32 km from Pitser Garrison Convention Center. Great location, being able to walk into the historic downtown. Parking onsite. Room (we had Crockett Room) was clean, well presented, very comfortable bed and a good size. Breakfast was great and thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the table, meeting other people during breakfast. We just had an overnight stop during a long journey, but certainly could have stayed longer - a very comfortable, relaxing stop.

Casino Casita is situated in Eagle Pass and offers free bikes and barbecue facilities. Boasting a housekeeping service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. This Casita had everything necessary for a more than comfortable stay. I was highly impressed with the cleanliness of the entire house. Private parking and elevated backyard view of the city was a plus. It's obvious this host wants you to have a stress free stay. Another plus was the location of the Casino, it was about 4 miles away. JACKPOT location and I will definitely be back!
