Offering a garden and city view, Happy Island Miyako is situated in Miyako Island, 1.9 km from Painagama Beach and 6.2 km from Irabu Bridge. The host and team were very kind. It's a relatively small house in which the guests live together with the host and the staff. It's a family atmosphere between the host, the staff and the guests. We cooked together, made some trips and just went for dinner/drinking. Since I speak only a bit of Japanese there was some language barrier, since the host speaks only japanese. However, some of the guests could speak a bit of English and for the translation apps could be used. Nevertheless I never felt excluded.

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, Guesthouse Koa is located in Miyako Island, less than 1 km from Sunayama Beach. The YABIJI half-day tour was spectacular! During my stay, I was lucky enough to rent their car. It wouldn’t have been possible for me to get around the island without it as all car rentals were fully booked for July. They had a cute little puppy running around the shared space and this was lovely as I got to interact with this adorable furry animal during my stay. They had hand-made frozen food stocks for guests who had no time for grocery or eating out which was quite convenient. Shared bathroom space was designed very well. The atmosphere was calm and everyone there seemed warm-hearted and friendly. Therapeutic sessions (essential oils, massage) were available, too.

Located in Miyako Island and only 400 metres from Imgya Marine Garden, Private Resort Hotel RENN provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Renn san was super friendly, he provided valuable inputs for our snorkeling plans. I wish we stayed there 1-2 more nights to fully utilize his inputs! XD The facility has a great view of the night sky, if you happen to catch a good cloud-less weather while you are there, you would be able to enjoy a good view of the Milky Way!

Sony and his wife were very gracious hosts and have done a great job at cultivating a true sense of community among guests and staff. The snorkeling trip was a lot of fun as were the dinners and drinks in the evening.

Located in Miyako Island in the Miyakojima region, きくのこ3缶ヴィラ＆テラス features a balcony. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Wow! Very modern and clean! We were very comfortable in that house, wish we stayed longer. For extra fee we had pick up and drop off at the airport. And also for extra fee a rental car. This is needed on the island and car was very modern. A car makes everything more accesible, like going to beaches, supermarket and even a night snack. House had lots of equipment and was fully packed: washer, dryer and the detergent. Netflix. Water dispenser. Coffee. Close to supermarket so we cooked at home. Were nice garden and terras. Big bath and bedrooms. Will recommend it to al my friend and family! And definetly will stay again. Also good communication with the staff. We do not speak Japanese and we communicated good enough!
