The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. The place is spotless, the AC cold and the wi-fi strong. Steps away from the southern arun-arun, where locals congregate for food and socializing in the evening. Highly recommended.

Located in the city of Yogyakarta, just 12 minutes drive away from Malioboro Shopping Street. Raintree Boutique Villa & Gallery is a classic interior villa with Javanese-European design. This boutique is absolutely amazing. The boutique is incredibly beautiful & super clean with a lot of beautiful art/style. The staff is super kind, helpful & is immediately at your service. We had the nicest stay here! We will definitely visit again!!

( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

Picked me up and dropped me off at the railway station, as well as to the Ramayana Ballet. They also let me use their bicycle, which is a great way to explore all the temples in the area.

Overall a really really lovely chilled atmosphere, I wish I could have stayed longer! I’m an early riser and didn’t opt for the included breaky but staff still supplied me with free tea and coffee at any time in the mornings and allowed me to store my fruit in their fridge. I appreciated the water refill station and the knowledge and friendliness of the staff.
