Very nice hotel close to the city centre of Roermond. The hotel used to be the local prison, which was rebuild into a hotel. They did a very nice job in respecting the old building. The rooms are build in and divided over multiple "old" cells. Clean and large rooms with a good bed, bathroom and work area. Friendly staff.
The restaurant is supposed to be very good but it was completely booked for the evening. Bar is good and a nice outside sitting area. Did not use the breakfast. Parking next to the hotel.
Located 1 km from Stedelijk Museum Roermond and Roermond centre, Hotel Restaurant Café Parkzicht features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.

Not a huge place, but I had the advantage of living there for 3 years in the 70's. Our visit was to visit Dutch friends and reaquaint ourselves with the place. I also have an RAF relative, sadly killed during the war and buried in the local Churchyard.
Quiet a busy town with a good Market, Marina and watersports. The shops good with a large Outlet Village too. Many restaurants and places to eat.

I knew Roermond very well having lived down the road for 9 years. Roermond is an excellent place to visit both from a shopping perspective, the Designer Outlet is very popular and parking (very large) is €4 for 24 hours. The old town is lovely with varied and good restaurants/cafes. Plenty of activities if you like, walking, cycling and water sports. the road network is excellent with Maastrich/Eindhoven/Dusseldorf nearby.

It’s a quaint city with just enough sites to see.
It’s a quaint city with just enough sites to see. Most people come to visit the Designer Outlet Mall, but there’s more to the city. There are beautiful churches, a nice quay with cafe’s and restaurants. You can also visit nearby German cities and walking routes.

There is a restaurant in the building of this hotel, and I understood that the accomodation facility was introduced recently. The staff, the owner, the courtesy were all excellent. We had our breakfasts with family in the elegant restaurant, and the breakfasts were prepared freshly just for us. We stayed there with family and after a satisfactory weekend, we changed our minds and extended our stay. This property definitely deserves more than I paid. The location is excellent for those who loves shopping; it is in walking distance to the largest shopping outlet of Europe. I would never forget the hospitality we faced; and for sure the chocolates!!
We liked everything about the hotel. The rooms were big, modern and clean, the bed was super comfortable, staff was really friendly and helped us with questions and our parking situation, breakfast was amazing, and the location is great too with a walking distance to the Roermond Designer Outlet which was the reason for our visit. We have nothing negative to say about this hotel and recommend it to everyone who’s planning to visit Roermond over night!
room was spacious; very unusual in Europe; breakfast was simple as others in Europe, but we enjoyed scramble and two sunny-side ups; LOCATION is excellent, close to train station, even in walking distance to downtown and outlet; indeed pleasant stay; Oh, parking. it's we were lucky to find a space just in front of the hotel; DON'T forget taking a short adventure in the secret garden backyard.
The beds were very comfortable, clean and good linen. The room was quiet. Nespresso machine inside your room. Very good breakfast. Staff very attentive and polite. Parking inside the garage of the hotel for free. Excellent location, super close to train station and downtown.
Super nice breakfast with freshly baked bread, fresh yoghurt, eggs and well presented. The host is super friendly. 5 min from Roermond Outlet.
I had forgotten a dress in the room and the host kindly send the dress by post the same day.
Hello
The woman who works in the hotel she respectful she even offered me a free coffee ,I had a good time at the hotel ,I recommend it to everyone and it is in the city center very close to the train station
Best Regards ,
Lovely hotel and great experience to sleep in a prison. GREAT restaurant, a must try!!! Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Location is great and very conveniently located if you want to go shopping at Roermond outlet.
The hotel is really interesting as a design. the rooms are very clean and nice, although the heating was not working. The hotel staff was very nice and provided a heater in my room to help warm up the room.
It was an amazing experience
Hotel looked so magical for the new year, we slept on a giant comfy bed and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning
It so cool that they allow dogs in the restaurant ❤️
The room was tiny, but very nice. The hotel is very close to the train station which is a huge advantage. It's not the cheapest accommodation, but I would recommend it.
A short walk from Roemond train station. It is located in an upscale residential area. Food in the restaurant was wonderful. The room was neat and clean.
